

Guilt, Grief and Pride

At 19, you think you know it all. I did. I was determined to make my adoption experience good, and keep control of what was to happen to my child. I was vulnerable and very gullible, thinking that because I was strong enough to make such a bold decision I was entitled to do it my way. I would have never thought that so many people, so many unknown people, would be coming at me telling me what I HAD to do in order to place my baby with he family that I wanted her to go to.
